Devin Aiken has felt since she was a child that people notice her nose first, and not in a good way. She wondered how different life could be and dreamed of changing it for years.
This dream has now come true at the age of thirty. Devine achieved the transformation she had always dreamed of after saving $11,000 for rhinoplasty for more than a decade. However, she did not expect how much the transformation outside the mirror would affect her.
Devin Aiken has always felt terrible about her looks.

Although her 61,500 followers on TikTok often misunderstand it, Devin Aiken never considered herself ugly before her surgery in November. She did not choose to have rhinoplasty to change her self-esteem, despite what many believe.
“I thought I was a beautiful girl. I didn’t think I was ugly,” she said.
“You can ask anyone – they would say that I am very confident, very confident in myself. I just thought I had a huge nose that I hate.”
The woman is sure that her nose surgery was “the best decision of her life.”

Aiken, 30, has turned her TikTok into a forum for conversations about plastic surgery since she had rhinoplasty, uploading everything from before and after photos to recovery updates. In doing so, she has inadvertently established herself as a leading authority in cosmetic surgery.
Words of encouragement from supporters, questions from potential rhinoplasty candidates, and, of course, criticism from those who object to her decision are mixed in her comments section. However, Aiken is still committed to her goal: openness.
“I documented it from day one. I posted a video while I was still in bed recovering,” she said.
“I just thought, ‘Wait, this might help other people.’
Devin is overcome with emotion when talking about her trip.
Aiken discovers his metamorphosis without hesitation. She often shares “before” photos of herself from the first thirty years of her life, showing off her appearance before surgery until her nose reconstruction at the end of last year. However, her nose before the operation has been significantly altered in the daily shots she posts on her modest TikTok profile.
“I left all my videos, photos and just put up with it. I had a nose surgery,” she says.
“I will not erase who I was. And I like to post ‘before’ and ‘after’ because the difference is so big.”

Devin is deeply grateful for this life opportunity.
As she grew older, Aiken became more and more aware of how much attention her nose attracted in every situation, and as the offensive remarks from middle school passed. She couldn’t shake the impression that her most noticeable facial feature was always the first thing people see, whether through grumbling comments she shouldn’t have heard or subtle glances she received while shopping.
Devin can say for sure that her big dream has come true, and with a small bonus.
“I just feel so happy every time I look in the mirror,” she shared.
“It literally changes my life… Now I can just shop with peace of mind. I can go out calmly and I don’t have to worry if someone makes a comment. I feel relieved.”
“I was a little nervous to expose myself because I get unpleasant comments every day. Every time I log on to my social media, there’s a disgusting comment,” says the TikTok star.
“People just misunderstand that with plastic surgery they are like a fake bitch. They turn into someone else. This is not the case. I’m just improving and improving.”
