A neglected chest of drawers transformed into a charming and original piece

A new life full of beauty
Step 1: Careful preparation
Before beginning the transformation, the chest of drawers needed a thorough cleaning :
Tools used : Dishwashing detergent and wire brush.
Procedure : After removing the old coating, each surface was meticulously sanded and cleaned to eliminate imperfections and residues.
Step 2: Coloring and customization
Painting played a key role in this restoration:
Exterior : A moss green was chosen to bring a natural and soothing touch. Despite the absence of high-end paint, two coats were applied.
Interior : The plywood shelves were covered with acrylic paint salvaged from a previous project.
Golden touches : The metal grilles of the doors have been painted with anti-corrosion gold paint , adding a touch of elegance to the design.
